Mr. Michael Champlin

Michael Champlin grew up right here in Falcon, CO attending Falcon Elementary, Falcon Middle, and graduating from Falcon High School. He earned his Bachelor’s in Chemistry with an emphasis on secondary education from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and taught secondary science for 8 years. During that time, Michael earned his Master’s in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Michael has served as the Dean of Students at Falcon High School since the start of the 2018-2019 school year.

Michael has a firm belief that every student can succeed given the correct environment, motivation, and support. At Falcon High School he strives to help create a culture that fosters respect, builds accountability, and encourages all students to put their best effort forward to help drive them to a successful future.

Outside of school, Michael and his wife Bethany, a fellow FHS graduate and Falcon Zone educator enjoy spending time with their two sons, Gabriel and Josiah.
